5 Super Talented Nigerian MAKEUP ARTISTS you need to know

We have a number of great Makeup artists in Nigeria. Some of which you’d wonder why they are not here instead. Yes, I totally understand. And some, even have bigger social media follower counts. But, these ones mentioned below have paid their dues and deserve some accolades. They are really super talented! Most of them have been in the game for years and just keep getting better & better. Let’s go ahead to see them and some of their recent looks.

1. BIBYONCE

We have, Bebe Omagbemi, the owner of the BIBYONCE STUDIO. With her signature cat eye look , nude lips and glow game. I always have to scrow back up whenever I see instagram posts of her clients because, there is something so attractive about her makeup style. Making her clients look like angels glowing at you, phew!

She has worked with a number of celebrities, the likes of: Rita Dominic, Lilian Esoroo, Laura Ikeji, Tonto dike, Moyo Lawal, CeCe on BBNaija2018, Chef Chioma, Nancy Isime, the list goes on.

2. ANITA BROWS

Anita “brows” Adetoye is one of the OG’s of Makeup Artistry in Nigeria. For Anita, the goal is to keep the makeup looking like it doesn’t even exist, yet giving a natural glow to her clients’ skin. So simple, yet classy!

She has worked with the likes of Toke Makinwa, Lola Oj, Sharon Ooja, Anie Idibia, Wofai Ifada, Sola Sobowale, Idia Eisien and many others.

3. LAYEFA BEAUTY

This Lady has a special place in my heart, from following her on Instagram, watching her YouTube videos, to finally meeting her. Meeting her made my love for her grow even bigger. She did my makeup last year and it was so so beautiful. Definitely looking forward to another glam session with her, ’cause her skin game is 100%, I tell you. And from my first hand experience the care and precision when doing her clients’ makeup is really impressive. She’s just too much, slaying it on YouTube and in the Makeup business world, sure, there are other persons who will attest to this.

She has Glammed up Celebrities like; Bisola of BBNaija 2017, Korra Obidi, Abimbola Craig, Stephaie Coker, Chioma Okoli just to mention a few.

4. RONALD THE 7TH

Ronald The 7th is an Abuja based Makeup artist with his signature Glamour looks. He makes his clients look like they’re going to be on Television or out to slay Thebes Red Carpet, if you get what I mean. His work always looks so soft and clean. With a following of about 71.5k on Instagram, I think he is doing really well and he is very talented in Makeup Artistry.

He has created Makeup Looks for Rita Dominic, Tonto Dikeh, CeCe from BBNaija2018, Beverly Osu, Toke Makinwa, Idia Aisien, Ozinna, Mercy from BBNaija2019, Dj Cuppy, Kimoprah from BBNaija2019 etc.

5. LYDIA STANLEY

To me, Lydia Stanley is the Nigerian SFX (Special Effects) queen, Mehn! Her SFX looks are always so bomb and they look so realistic. Do you know she is actually self taught? That blows my mind every time I see her posts.

She doesn’t do only special effects, she also does makeup on Clients in Kaduna, and she is so interesting to watch on YouTube. You should definitely check out her channel. She has worked on the Beautiful Mercy Johnson.
